I retired from GA state government as a community supervision officer in 2021 after 31 years of service. My years as a supervision officer exposed me to difficult situations and heartache. In retirement, I was drawn to something that would bring pure JOY—both for me and for others. That's when I turned to baking. My mission is simple: Spreading JOY through food, using simple Southern goodness.

The name BAKED BLESSINGS comes from my family heritage. I come from a long line of foodies with not one, but TWO family cookbooks! My Big Daddy and Big Mama (my grandparents) had 14 children. We thank God for this couple who chose years ago to live a life of BLESSING and follow Jesus. Family and friends remember gathering around the table to enjoy bountiful food prepared with recipes from these cookbooks. At each meal, Big Daddy would pray "THE BLESSING": "Kind Heavenly Father, Accept our thanks for these and all our many blessings. In Christ's name we pray. Amen."  He prayed it over and over. No amount of money, fame, or possession can compare to "GENERATIONS OF BLESSINGS."

People often ask if we believe we have impacted our community...Yes!  We spread JOY in our community. In a world full of negativity, we strive to spread kindness through food. People smile when they bite into our desserts! Our business has been branded as consistent, comforting, simple, joyful, down to earth, and delicious. As Christ followers, we share our faith through our products. Our recipes are a testament to Southern hospitality and the joy of sharing homemade treats with others—an art form that is slowly dying away.
